Clinical Pathology
The Clinical Pathology Laboratory provides onsite diagnostic haematology, biochemistry, cytology, blood banking, endocrinology and microbiology services to the hospital, private practitioners and external pathology laboratories. We conduct specialised coagulation testing for clients Australia-wide and serve as the national referral centre for the diagnosis of coagulopathies in domestic animals.
We participate in internal and external quality control programs, to ensure accuracy of results, and use instrumentation and test methods that are appropriate for veterinary species.
